Mrs. Ola Mary Higdon, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018.
She was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Frank and Lottie (Whitworth) Collins. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Thomas E Higdon, her Parents, Daughter, Anna Lee Brown, Sons, Harold D Higdon and Thomas Higdon, Brothers, Charles David Collins, Shelby Collins, and David Collins and Sisters, Agnes McGee, Frances Dieruf, and Catherine Collins.
Ola is survived her Sons, Charles (Connie) Higdon, Edward (Peggy) Higdon, Charles R (Mary) Ochsner, Daughter, Georgia Reynolds, Brothers, Walter Collins and Billy Collins, Sisters, Rosalee Routon and Wilda Mae Collins, Sister-in-Law, Carol Collins, and numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, at St. Athanasitus Catholic Church (5915 Outer Loop) with burial to follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery (Barton Run Road) in Clarkson, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Ola's memory be made to Amedisys Hospice or the St. Elizabeth Building Fund (Clarkson, KY).
