Norva E. Swearingen, 85, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013. He was a native of Adams County, Ohio, born on February 7, 1928 to the late Lee and Ida (Hardin) Swearingen. Norva is survived by his children, Gary Lee Swearingen (Jeannie), Steve M. Swearingen (Estrella), Anita "Lynn" Armstrong (David "Boney"). He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita (Grimes) Swearingen, and son, Roger E. Swearingen.
Visitation will be from 2 PM to 7 PM Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held at 7 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place on Saturday in Adams County, Ohio.
