Norman Wayne Carden , 79, of Ekron, Kentucky passed away on March 24, 2018. He retired from General Electric.

Norman was born on January 10, 1939, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Ralph and Dorothy (Masterson) Carden. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Carden.

Norman is survived by his children, Becky Mills (Albert), Debra Peak (Chuck), Karen Carden, Michael Carden (Carol), Steven Carden (Teresa); siblings, Ray Carden, David Carden (Linda), and Darlene Berger (Gary); twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service to honor the life of Norman will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
