Norma Stafford

August 12, 1928 — September 8, 2021

God saw her getting tired, a cure not meant to be, so he put his arms around her, and whispered "come with me".

Norma was preceded in death by all of her immediate family; her mother, Edna Young Stafford, her father, Louis Stafford and her three brothers; Louis, Howard and Leslie.

She leaves behind two nephews; Dennis Stafford (Vicky), Bloomington, IL and Larry Stafford (Suzan), Wichita, KS. Great nephews; Nicholas Stafford (Jessica), Tyler Stafford, Joshua Stafford, a great niece Meghan Stafford, great-great nephews, Maximus Stafford and Gunner Stafford, great-great niece, Derby Stafford and wonderful, helpful neighbors and many other friends.

Norma was a caregiver to her brother Leslie for 38 years. She had a deep love of all animals, especially dogs. At one time she had a dog-sitting service at her home. She enjoyed crafting, making many decorations, gifts, dolls, needlework and sewing. She had a special love of flowers and gardening with love of music. She was a member of Silver Notes, a senior volunteer singing group. She volunteered at United Crescent Hill Ministries. She was a member of T.O.P.S. for many years. Norma was a Kentucky Colonel.

Norma wanted no service or visitation. She was cremated and will be buried in Cave Hill Cemetery. Any remembrance may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
