Norma Gene Coomer, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017. to the late William and Earie Pauline Dowell .
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Winston Coomer, Sr., her son Winston Coomer, Jr., brother, William G. Dowell, Jr.
Norma is survived by her beloved sons, Ben Coomer Sr. and Michael Coomer; sister, Betty Schlageter; daughter-in-law Cheryl; sister-in-law Patty; grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Giancola, Shanna (Jon) Garrett, Benjamin (Michelle) Coomer, Jr., Christy (Timmy) Conroy, Misty (Roger) Coomer, Sarah Coomer; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends who will greatly miss her.
Norma's family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 3pm - 8pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
Funeral Ceremony will be 10:00 am Wednesday, December 27, 2017 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
