Norma Jean (Hubbard) Burress, 75, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Monday evening, October 24, 2016. She could easily be described as a social butterfly, never meeting a stranger and always open to having a conversation.
She was born on July 11, 1941, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Bedford and Elsie Hubbard. Norma is survived by her children, David Burress and Tina Sullivan (Ron); grandchildren, Landon Burress (Erica), Matthew Burress (Sarah), Jenna Burress, and Kimberly Burress; and great-grandchildren, Haylie, Parker, Zan, Hudson, and Lilly.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday after 9:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
