Norma Jean Brown

Norma Jean Brown, age 65 of Louisville, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 7, 2020 with her loving family by her side. She was born on on May 5, 1955 at the Red Cross Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Harry C. & Clara Mae Bland Brown. Norma graduated from Central High School. At an early age. Norma dedicated her life to the Lord and has been involved in church. She currently was a member at Burnett Avenue Baptist Church, attending since October 3rd of 2010. She retired from Jewish Hospital after over 20 years of service. She made everyone feel at ease with her warm smile. Norma was extremely family oriented and loved by everyone. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, James L. & Bessie M. Brown.

Norma is survived by her loving children, Carletta Brown & Arttis Brown; 3 grandchildren; 3 sisters and 2 brothers; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

Visitation will be 4 to 6pm on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243 (in Middletown). A celebration of Norma's life will be at 6pm at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family.
