Norma Jean Baker, a beloved matriarch, was born on February 20, 1946, and gently left this world on April 25, 2025. In her nearly 80 years of life, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of love that will be cherished for generations to come.

Norma was a true nurturer, embracing her role as a mother with immense passion and dedication. She found joy in every moment spent with her family, creating a warm environment filled with laughter and compassion. Her home was a sanctuary, where stories were shared, lessons were learned, and bonds were strengthened. Whether it was baking cookies in the kitchen or cuddling with her grandkids while watching their favorite shows, Norma made every encounter special, each memory a colorful thread woven into the beautiful tapestry of their lives.

As we remember Norma Jean Baker, we will hold dear the countless moments that she gifted us: her warm smile, her wise words, and her unwavering support. To her family, she was not just a matriarch but a source of strength, a guiding light, and a gentle hand leading them through life’s trials and triumphs. 

Though she has departed from this world, Norma’s legacy remains alive in the hearts she touched. She will be dearly missed, but her memory will forever be cherished in the laughter of her children, the joy of her grandchildren, and the love of her great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Collins and Theresia Collins and her brother, Bill Collins.

Norma leaves behind to cherish her memory are her children, Theresia Baker, James (Angie) Baker and Debbie (Tommy) Nuckles; grandchildren, Alexis (Tre) Santiago, Ryan (Alexis) Baker, Brianna (Jazz) Hartlage, Skylar Baker, Trent Nuckles and Hannah Nuckles; great-grandchildren, Taytum Baker, Virgil Santiago, Madden Baker and Daxton Guinn; sister, Pat (Rob) Byrne; life long companion, Jim Baker and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of Norma's life at a later date.
