Norbert Louis (Bert) Herp , 81, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky passed away on April 28, 2018. He retired from US Army after serving in Desert Storm.
Bert was born on September 15, 1936, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Norbert and Louise (Saunder) Herp. He was also preceded in death by his Son, David A. Herp.
Bert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ruth.(Kirchgessner) Herp; children, Donald Herp, and Kim (Corky) Volz; grandchildren, Adam Volz, Ryan (Colleen) Volz, David (Megan) Volz, Adam Herp; great-grandchildren, Finley Volz and Isla Volz.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 2,2018 from 5pm - 8pm, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville).
