Nora Rita (Armstrong) Matchuny

Nora Rita (Armstrong) Matchuny, 80, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2019. She was a devout Christian and active member at Southeast Christian Church - Clarksville Campus. Nora enjoyed boating with family and friends, and always made an effort to be on a first name basis with everyone she came into contact with.

She was born on April 7, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Harold and Rosemary (Brady) Armstrong. Nora is survived by her husband of 62 years, Don Matchuny; sons, Jim Matchuny (Kathy), Bob Matchuny, John Matchuny (Lisa); sister, Betsy Taylor; grandchildren, Amber Johnson (Curtis), Alex, Joshua, Kali, Jacob and Morgan Matchuny; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Matchuny.

Cremation was chosen following Nora's wishes. Contributions in her memory may be made to Hosparus - the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, IN 47150).
