Nina Sue Darnell

Nina Sue (Stonecipher) Darnell, 54, of Salem, IN passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 in Louisville, KY. She was an active member of the Quartermaster VFW Post 1832 in Jeffersonville, IN. Nina was very proud of her 14 ½ years of sobriety and was active in the Alcoholics Anonymous program.

Nina was born December 13, 1960 in Corydon, IN . She is preceded death by her father, Edmond Stonecipher.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Darnell; children, Katrina Wilson (Jeremy Cooper), Wayne Wilson (Sasha), & Nikole McAfee (Eric); mother, Phyllis Stonecipher; siblings, Gene McAdams (Hildagard), Anna Johns (Randy), John Stonecipher (Peggy), Bonnie Conrad, Sam Stonecipher (Brenda); 13 grandchildren, & 2 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be from 11 AM to 2 PM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). A Memorial Service will be held immediately after visitation at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
