Nina Mae Shelton, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020. She was born on February 25, 1936 in Augusta, Kentucky to the late Martin and Harriet Jones.

In addition to her parents, Nina is preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Ann Smith and a brother, Elmer Lee Jones.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Gary Meyer, Connie (John) Hayes, Billy (Kim) Meyer, Susan (Robert) Ford, Peggy (Bill) Polston; 12 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and brothers, Johnnie and Jimmie Jones.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, January 17, 2020 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Johnsville, Cemetery in Johnsville, Kentucky.
