Nicole Ann (Edwards) Reidinger, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Baptist Hospital East.

She was born on June 4, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio to Joseph R. Edwards, Jr. and Barbara (Foree) Wilson. Nicole was a 1985 graduate of Holy Rosary Academy in Louisville. She met and fell in love with her husband, Gregory "Bub" Reidinger, while attending St. Helen's Catholic School. They were married for 37 years, having two sons, Justin Reidinger and Andrew "Jordan" Reidinger (Macy).

Nicole was known for being a hard worker, spending most of her career in finance and accounting. Most recently, she worked alongside of her father at his tax business, helping prepare countless returns. Nicole's three favorite places in the world included any sandy beach, Disney theme park or casino, where she could test out her luck.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Leo Norman Reidinger; sisters, Catherine "Katie" (VanMeter) Ware and Lori "Beth" Edwards. In addition to her husband, sons and parents, Nicole is survived by her sisters, Judi Carlton (Danny), Mary Edwards; brothers, Joseph "Rick" Edwards III, Michael Edwards, Christopher VanMeter; mother-in-law, Patricia (Burke) Reidinger; sisters-in-law, Cindy Treager (Bruce), Jill Cole (Matt); and a host of niece, nephews, extended family members and friends, all of whom loved her dearly.

A celebration of Nicole's life will be announced in the coming weeks. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
