Nicholas Christian Bohn II

Nicholas Christian Bohn II, 65, went home to his Lord on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Nic was someone who appreciated the little things in life and truly loved other people for their unique qualities. He lived with integrity and followed core values like “you’re only as good your word”, and believed we should be judged only by the “content of our character”. Everyone who knew Nic knew he had a huge heart and was beloved by his family and friends.

Nic is survived by his daughters, Melissa (Nate Thomas) and Jessica Diehl; granddaughter Blake; his brothers, Robert (Judy), Charles (Martha), John (Jennifer); and his sisters, Dorothy Abrams, Margaret Bohn, Elizabeth Woodson (Bob), and Rita Tonini (John); and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Christine Smedley; his sisters, Mary Juliette Fulner and Regina Browne; and his brothers, Maurice Michael Bohn and George Edward Bohn.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 4:00pm to 8:00pm, and on Wednesday, June 11, at 10:00am - 12:00pm, service to follow at 12:00pm, at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions East Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville KY, 40243, interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Rd,  40205.
