Nellie Hazel Walton

Walton, Nellie Hazel, 96, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on November 22, 2015.

Nellie was born on January 19, 1919, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Lawrence Quire and Alice (Emerson) Quire. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Louis Bertrand Walton, Sr.; and one son, John Michael Walton.

She is survived by her son, Louis Bertrand Walton, Jr. (Kathy Vo); grandson, Louis Bertrand Walton, III; and granddaughter, Sarah Catherine Walton.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, November 30, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A funeral service to honor the life of Nellie will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
