Nelda Joyce Pardue

Nelda Joyce Pardue, age 80, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016. She was originally from Monroe County, Ky. and she was a life-long member of the Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and loved her family dearly. Nelda was preceded in death by her parents, Basil and Tessie Turner Thomas; brothers, Rondell Thomas and Rayburn Thomas; her sister, Netta Emberton; and her mother-in-law, Selma Pardue.

Nelda is survived by the love of her life for 60 years, Guy; children, Timothy B. Pardue (Eric Green), Trent B. Pardue; granddaughter, Jessy; sister, Nina Curtis; grand-dogs, Dexter and Jeb; many nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 4-8pm Friday, EDT, September 23, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Louisville, Ky. Visitation will also be 11am-1pm on Saturday, September 24th at Strode Funeral Home, 85 Lois Moore Dr, Scottsville, KY 42164, with service there at 1pm, CDT. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville.
