Nelda Ruth Henry
February 26, 1947 — November 15, 2018
Nelda Ruth Henry 71, of Louisville, KY passed away on November 15, 2018. She was a very caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Nelda always knew how to make others laugh and feel good about themselves. She enjoyed playing BINGO, sewing, working in her flower garden and making floral arrangements. Her family meant the world to her and she will be forever missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Henry, Sr. and parents, Tony and Mildred Apostalo
Nelda is survived by her children, Lisa (James) Arrigo and Gary Lee Henry, Jr.; grandchildren, Krystle (Zack) Henry, Chris (Kayla) Henry and Lania Henry; great-grandchildren, Carson, Taylor, Mason, Camden and Chloe and sister, Melody (Leslie) Swire and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 11am-1pm with a celebration of Nelda's life beginning at 1pm.
