Neil L. Cantrell Sr.

December 30, 1933 — December 6, 2014

Neil Lewis Cantrell Sr. age 80 of Louisville, Ky passed away at Baptist Health Louisville on Saturday, December 6, 2014.

He was born in Louisville on December 30, 1933 to Harvey Riley Cantrell, Sr. and Vera Mae Sierp Cantrell.

Preceding in death besides his parents was his brother Don Lee Cantrell.

Neil was a Navy veteran, self-employed and retired. He was an avid lover of jazz, sports, politics and horses.

He is survived by his children, Donna W. Dailey, Neil L. Cantrell Jr. (Magdalena), Charles E. Cantrell, Virginia V. Lawson (Ed); sister, Virginia R. Rauh; brothers, Earl M. Cantrell (Shirley), Harvey R. Cantrell Jr., James O. Cantrell (Shirley), William "Mike" Cantrell (Hope); 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, December 12, 2014 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm EST at New Life Church 3402 Goose Creek Road Louisville, KY 40241

Memorial Service will begin same day at 5:00 pm.
