Neil H. Cunningham, 68, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. He enjoyed drag racing and cars in his younger years and loved listening to rock n' roll.
He was born on July 16, 1948, in Evans Landing, Indiana, to the late John and Catherine (Reeves) Cunningham. Neil is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda (Campbell) Cunningham; siblings, Gary Cunningham (Myrna), and Donna Russel (Robert); 11 nieces and nephews; and 17 great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 9:00 a.m. His Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Evans Landing Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
Neil's family wishes to thank the staff at Kindred Wedgewood Nursing Facility for the love and care they provided to him over the past 3 years.
