Nathan Andrew Shepherd

Nathan Shepherd, 44, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Nathan enjoyed woodworking and was known for being a skilled artist and master carpenter. He loved being with his family and going camping, fishing, and canoeing with them.

He was born on June 12, 1977, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Susan (Mull) Mayfield and the late Andy Shepherd.

Along with his mother, Nathan is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Diana Shepherd; children, Austin Shepherd, Chase Shepherd, Elayna Shepherd, Madeline Shepherd, and Ryder Shepherd; 3 grandchildren; brother, Thad Shepherd; stepfather, Gary Mayfield; stepbrother, Josh Mayfield; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with cremation to follow.
