Naomi Anna Evans

Naomi Anna Evans was born on July 6, 1964, and departed this life on June 9, 2021. She accepted Christ at an early age at New Hope Baptist Church in Niagara Falls, New York.

In 1982 after graduating from Niagara Falls High School, she entered the United States Air Force where she attained the rank of Senior Airman. She was predeceased in death by her grandparents, Willie and Naomi Evans; brother, James A. Wright, Jr.; niece, Bianca Wright; and cousin, Conelle Forte.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving family: son, Quinn Evans (Ashley); grandson, Adonis McCoy; parents, Alexander and Jacqueline Evans; sisters, Nancy Evans-Patterson (James), Latoya Wright (Nita), and Rhonda Evans-Wright; brother, Ralph Carpenter; aunts, Lailah Diggs, Shirley Spalding (Amos), and Christine Young (Rod); nephews, Alexander Perkins and Julian Spear; and best friend, Miss Patricia Savage; along with a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Naomi's wishes. She will be laid to rest at a later date in the New Albany National Cemetery with full military honors.
