Nannie Mae "Nan" (Worley) Grube, 91, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Green Valley Care Center. She retired from Reynolds Metals and was a member of the Silver Street Church of Christ in New Albany. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family. Nan was always active and on the go.
She was born on November 25, 1926, in Keavy, Kentucky, to the late Leonard and Maude (Prewitt) Worley. Nan was also preceded in death by her husband, Nelson C. Grube; siblings, Opal Sizemore, Mabel Wells, Julie Grubb, Donald Worley, and Ben Worley.
Nan is survived by her children, Nelson W. Grube (Chris) and Jolene Grube; siblings Bill Worley (Vicki) and Leonard "Judge" Worley (Lula); brother-in-law, John Sizemore; sister-in-law, Eloise Worley; and grandchildren, Angie Dunn (James) and Jimmie Dunn (Suzanne).
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her Funeral Service taking place at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be private at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
