Nancy "Diane" (Reed) Tomes

Nancy "Diane" (Reed) Tomes, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on August 31, 2018. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and loved animals and bowling. Most of all, Diane truly enjoyed being with her family and friends at get-togethers out in the country.

She was born on August 15, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late James and Edna (Warren) Reed.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of almost 44 years, Ronald L. Tomes; sons, Ronald J. Tomes (Megan) and Eugene A. Tomes (Marla); siblings, Mike Reed (Julie) and Donna Alvey; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, September 6, 2018 in the chapel of the funeral home with cremation to follow.
