Nancy Leigh Sullivan

July 20, 1960 — March 3, 2022

Nancy Leigh Sullivan passed from us on March 2, 2022, to be with her mother, Maria Mattei.

Nancy was born in Louisville, Kentucky and other than a short period of time living in Arizona she lived in the Louisville, Kentucky area. Nancy went to Southern high school and later received an LPN certificate from Spalding college. Nancy used her LPN skills while working at Audubon and Suburban hospitals. Later in her career she worked as a medical coder.

Remaining family members who will miss her are son, Brendan Sullivan; sister, Glenda Finney (Michael); nephews and nieces; Kelly Essler (Jim), Christopher Lauyans (Amber), Jason Finney (Marcie), Jeremy Finney (Amanda), Shannon Smith (Rich), cousins; Patricia Brooks, Harold Fowler, Tim Fowler, Ellen Manuel, Bernard Fowler, Andy Fowler, Jim Fowler, Tony Byrde, Rose Marie Meade, Harold Byrde, Michael Byrde, Geraldine Byrde, Gerard Byrde, Cathy Harris, Joseph Byrde, Monica Doyle, Bill Dohey, Philip Dohey, Patrick Dohey, Mary Lou Collins, David Dohey, Paul Dohey , Ann Marie Provencher and Brenda Tobin.

Nancy loved to follow Facebook, watch U of L basketball and her favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. Nancy will be missed by her son and family. We love you and wish you the best on your journey to God and seeing your mom.

Newcomer Funeral Home Louisville will be handling Nancy's arrangements. There will be no viewing.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Nancy's name to the Alzheimer's and Heart Associations.
