Nancy Marie Parsons

Nancy Parsons, age 89 of Louisville, passed away August 21, 2022. She was born and raised in Louisville, KY and graduated from Presentation Academy. She spent most of her time raising 5 children, but also enjoyed her volunteer work at several organizations. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Parsons; her son, Chuck Parsons; her sister, Charlein Habich; her niece, Emlee Skees; nephew, Will Skees; and her parents, Charles & Christine Tackett.

Nancy is survived by her loving children, Laurie (Jeff) Zinser, Kathy (Billy) Buckman, Sherry (Bill) McCroskey, and Peggy Niehoff; sisters, Rita Yates, Mary Tim (Steve) Hubbs; grandchildren, Adam Parsons, Drew Parsons, Jake Zinser, Jarrod Zinser, Jordan Zinser, Amy Buckman Brooks, Lindsay Buckman, Carly Buckman, April Walker, Matthew McCroskey, Chris Niehoff, and Beth Niehoff; daughter in-law, Julie Parsons; and a host of nieces and nephews. In her later years, her pride and joy were her great-grandchildren, Noah, Emma, Ellie, Grayson, Charlee, Griffin, Scout, Sloane, Bennett and Levi. She is also survived by a great number of friends.

Services will be private for the family.
