Nancy Mary(Mingalone) Sperandeo

Nancy Mary (Mingalone) Sperandeo , 96, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016. She was born on May 3, 1920 in New York, New York to George and Mary (Calozza) Mingalone. Nancy was an office manager for an insurance company for many years, before coming a full time homemaker, and was a member at St. John Paul Catholic Church in Sellersburg, Indiana. Nancy was a 46 year survivor of breast cancer. She was a great caregiver and enjoyed cooking for her loving family.

Along with her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Sperandeo, and a son, Michael. She is survived by her loving daughter, Darlene Valvano (Robert); sister, Ana Sperandeo; grandchildren, Nicholas and Jamison (Shelby), along with her godchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

There will be a Memorial Visitation held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 5 -7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with her Memorial Service to follow at 7 PM.
