Nancy Louise " Kundert" Ackerman

Nancy Louise Ackerman, 65, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on April 29, 2022.

Nancy was born on March 29, 1957. She went on to graduate from Mercy Academy, Class of 1975. During this period, she met the love of her life, William R. "Bill" Ackerman Sr. They were married on July 15, 1976, and together they raised two children.

Nancy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Herman J. Kundert Sr. & Louise Vargason Kundert; her son, William R. Ackerman Jr.

Nancy leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of almost 46 years, William R. Ackerman Sr.; her son, William R. "Bill" (Brandy) Ackerman III; her grandchildren, Keri Anne Louise Ackerman & Elizabeth Jane Ackerman; her sister, Jean M. (Terry) Kundert "Steier"; her brother-in-law, Joe (Marian) Ackerman; her nieces & nephews, Sarah L. (Adam) Spanyer, Amanda M. (Josh) Brentlinger, Michelle E. (J.B.) Meiman, Brian (Sara) Ackerman, Michael J. (Anna) Ackerman, & John Joseph (Alyssa) Ackerman; great nieces & nephews, D.J. Szypulski, Joseph B., Luke M., Grady J., Graham M., Olivia K., & Logan T.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville) with additional visitation hours on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 10:00AM - 12:00PM, services to follow at 12:00PM. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Academy (5801 Fegenbush Lane, Louisville, KY 40228).
