Nancy Lynn Ellegood

Nancy Ellegood, 56, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Nancy was a loving sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend. She loved spending time with her family every chance she got. She was an avid BINGO Queen and she would give her prizes to her family and friends. She loved being outdoors fishing and playing with her dogs Hershey and Buttercup. She had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back. She was always smiling and complimenting people. Nancy will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor and pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on June 19, 1965 in Louisville, Kentucky to Thomas and Barbara (O'Mary) Ellegood. She is preceded in death by her Father, Thomas Ellegood, Mother, Barbara Ann Ellegood, and Brother, Mark Ellegood.

Nancy is survived by her loving family, Sisters, Debbie (Faron) White, Cindy (Terry) Carroll, and Denise Puckett as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:00 am on Monday, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with Entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Nancy's memory be made to St. Joseph's Childrens home (2823 Frankfort Ave. Louisville, KY 40206).
