Nancy Lee Adams, born on March 23, 1945, in the vibrant city of Louisville, Kentucky, transitioned from this life on November 13, 2025. An embodiment of nurturing warmth and selfless devotion, she was a beacon of light to all who knew her; a steadfast pillar of support who embodied the spirit of giving. Her unwavering commitment to helping others was a hallmark of her character, as she always sought to uplift those around her.
Nancy cherished her faith and was a dedicated member of Kenwood Heights Christian Church for several years, where her kindness resonated within the community. This unyielding spirit of gentleness and compassion will be profoundly missed but will continue to inspire those she has left behind.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Beverly (Brian) Pike, Larry Keith Grigsby, and Susan (Danny Fowler) Mason, who carry forward her legacy of love and care. Her devotion extended to her grandchildren: Tara (Brandon) Fuchs, Jamie Keith (Taylor Sidders) Felker, Heather (Skyler Mitchell) Nicole Grigsby, and Jessica Paige (Brandon) Slaughter, as well as her precious great-grandchildren: Brian Christopher Fuchs, Adalynn Jolie Fuchs, Caleigh Slaughter, Elijah Slaughter, Pax Sidders, Sagi Sol, Xiius Sol, and Adaeus Sol. She is also survived by her long time friend, Gerri White.
Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Nannie Aline Ambrose; her father, Joseph William Ambrose; her brother, Larry David Ambrose; and her infant sister, Beverly Ann Ambrose. Their memories, woven into the fabric of her existence, elevate her legacy even further.
A memorial gathering will take place on Monday, November 24th , from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a celebration of Nancy's remarkable life starting at 6:00 PM. Both events will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Nancy are invited to honor her legacy and share in the joy she brought to this world.
