Myrtle Blanche Martin

April 13, 1930 — March 1, 2016

Myrtle Blanche Martin, 85, of Louisville, passed away on March 1, 2016. Myrtle was born in Louisville on April 13, 1930, to the late Robert and Estella Searcy. She was a member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Martin; two sons, Clayborn Ashby and Perry Wayne Swift; and a daughter, Patricia Ann Koerner.

Survivors include five sons, Mitchell Ashby, Edward John Swift, Marty Swift, Donald Swift, and Warren Swift; twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, March 4, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral ceremony will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial following in Highland Memory Gardens.
