June 6, 1923 — March 28, 2019
Myrtice Morgan 95, of Louisville, KY passed away on March 28, 2019. She was a member of South Jefferson Church. She was a woman ahead of her times; a successful business woman, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is dearly loved and will be missed by many each and every day.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Morgan; children, Carol Ann Small, Valerie (Gary) Bufkins and Keith Bryant; brothers, Buster Ellis, Floyd and Jimmy Wilcox; granddaughter, Angela Hite and grandson, Josh Small.
Myrtice is survived by her children, Kevin (Donna) Bryant, Mike (Brenda) Morgan, Mary Jo Back, niece, Sharon Weiss, grandchildren, Shannon (Chad) Sexton, David (Missy) Morgan, Scott (Elena) Morgan, Kenneth Hite, Dawn (Rick) Taylor, Brian Back, Adria Bryant, Whitney Phommavong, Erin Simmons, Libby (Luis) Avalos, Doug, John and Bill Bufkins, Robin Small, Kelly Franklin, and Wendy Bryant, and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, March 29, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 2pm-8pm. A celebration of Myrtice's life will be Saturday, March 30, 2019, beginning at 11am.
A graveside service will begin at 1pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens - West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
