Myrna Joyce(Bugbee) Day

Myrna Joyce (Bugbee) Day, 74, of New Albany, Indiana passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 27, 2015. She was born on May 28, 1941 in New Albany, Indiana to Alan and Corrine (Kaiser) Bugbee. Myrna was a secretary for Main Street United Methodist Church for many years. She was a devoted woman of God and loved her church family. Myrna loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, who referred to her as"Mimi". She was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed her birds and flowers.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children; Laura Wheeler (Todd), Ricky Day, Allison Walker (Rick), Kelly Jo Heavrin (Greg), Jeffrey Day; siblings; Marcella Day, Martha Bugbee, Monica Sorg, Frank Bugbee; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 2 to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 10 AM at Main Street United Methodist Church(516 West Main St., New Albany, IN 47150) with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
