Myrl Mogle, 89, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. He was a United States Navy veteran and the retired owner of Mogle's Auto Glass. Myrl was a long-time member of Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown.
He was born on February 11, 1927 in Freedom, Maine to the late Frederick and Mary (Pfeiffer) Mogle. Myrl is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Edna (Osborne) Mogle; children, Sandra McDonald (Tim), Patricia Poncé, David Mogle (Joleena); sister, Edna Kuhn; grandchildren, Chelsey Aprill (Jason), Haley Fox (Jabin), Michael Poncé, Carson Poncé, Katy Mogle, Joshua, Robert, Terry, Erica, Daniel, Renee McDonald; great-grandchildren, Mirrin, Callie, Cora; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Visitation will be 10 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Main Cross Baptist Church (145 Main Cross Street, Charlestown, IN 47111) with his Funeral Service taking place at 12 PM. Burial with military honors will follow at Owen Creek Cemetery in New Washington, Indiana.
