Murray N. "Jerry" Torrance, our beloved husband, father and Poppo, peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016. He was born at home in Berea, Ohio and retired from the IRS as Regional Personnel Director. He was a man of humility, kindness, integrity and quick wit. He leaves many with fond memories. Murray was preceded in death by his parents, Murray P. and Norma Henry Torrance; and his niece, Joey Pettway.
Murray is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; son, Griffin (Wynne'); grandson, Benjamin; step-granddaughters, Amber and Ashlee; sister, Joan Pettway; and Brazilian son, Zeca; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1-3pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown.
