Morrissa Reneé Edmonson, 40, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021.

She was born on November 25, 1980 in Louisville, Kentucky to Morris Mattingly and Karen Bailey. She was a prolific writer and loved singing. Enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Morrissa is preceded in death by her brother, Jason W. Mattingly. She is survived by her father, Morris R. Mattingly; mother, Karen M. Mattingly; daughter, Jada T. Reinhart; son, Jordan R. Reinhart; son, Chandler M. Edmonson; daughter, Morraya G. Edmonson; sister, Laura DiPrimo; brother, Travis W. Mattingly; brother, Carlton Reid (Stephanie) Mattingly; brother, Cody A. Mattingly; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).
