Miriam Pirtle

Miriam "Smokey" Pirtle, 58, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019. Miriam worked for AT&T for almost 20 years, She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing games, and going to the beach. Miriam loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

She was born on July 26, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to Robert and Fleta (Whitt) Exley. She is preceded in death by her Parents.

Miriam is survived by her loving Husband of 39 years, David Pirtle, Daughters, Sara (B.J.) Reece, and Tracy Pirtle, Grandchildren, Ellie Reece, Leo Reece, Rosie Reece, and Zoe Reece, and Brother, Robert Exley, Jr.. Miriam also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Coworkers, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery.
