Milton Stubbins, Jr., 81, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020. He was a member and Assistant Head Deacon at Christ Temple Apostolic Church in Louisville. Milton liked fishing, sports, bowling, spending time with his grandchildren, and attending their sporting events. He was a retired New Albany Little League Baseball Coach and loved spending time with his family, especially at their many cookouts and barbecues.
He was born on September 6, 1938, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Milton and Mable (White) Stubbins. Along with his parents, Milton is preceded in death by his first wife, Naomi (Long) Stubbins; daughter-in-law, Martha Stubbins; and brother, Peter Gohagen.
Milton is survived by his loving wife, Florence (White) Stubbins; sons, Marcus Stubbins and Maurice (Robin) Stubbins; grandchildren, Jalen Stubbins and Markayla Stubbins; sister, Donnetta Bryant; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Christ Temple Apostolic Church (723 South 45th Street). His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
The family requests that contributions in Milton's memory be made to the Christ Temple Christian Life Center Building Fund or The Kidney Foundation.
