Milton Arthur Kays, Sr., 76, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. He was a United States Air Force veteran and worked as a certified maintenance engineer. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was born on January 20, 1940 in Newton, New Jersey to the late Kenneth Jacob & Martha Elizabeth (Schubert) Kays. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann (Van Gorden) Kays; siblings, Joan Stephens, Ruth Doughtery, & Walter Kays.
Milton is survived by his children, Dody Kays, Milton Kays, Jr. (Christie), Dawn Kays, Keith Kays (Veronica), Diane Kommer (John), Andrea Kays; brothers, Peter (Bev), Paul (Sarah), Mart, & Edward (Ellen) Kays; sisters, Roxanne Rome, Beatrice Space, & Maddie Vandemoore (Ted); 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen following Milton's wishes and Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care.
