Mildred Wibbels Carrithers, age 91 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015. She was born in Middletown, Kentucky to the late Herman and Lula Wibbels, and spent her entire life in Middletown. Milly was a member of Southeast Christian Church. Her three brothers, Bernard (Ben), James (Jim) and Thomas (Tom); and two sisters, Margaret (Sis) Jones and Katherine Donaldson (Kitty) preceded her in death, as did her former husband, Carl G. Carrithers.
Mrs. Carrithers is survived by her son Dennis (Carol); grandchildren, Meredith and Matthew (Adrienne); and her daughter, Robin. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Funeral ceremony will be 11am Monday, March 2, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Middletown Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, February 28th from 4-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus River Region or Eastern Area Community Ministries.
