Mildred Stasel

Mildred Stasel, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on July 29, 2015. She was a member of the Lakewood Baptist Church. Mildred was involved with the America Business Women's Association, Fern Creek Women's Club, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Red Hat Society.
Mildred was born on May 25, 1933, Upton, Kentucky to the late Randolph and Beatrice (Perkins) Stasel. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Rosetta Melton, and her brother Charles Frank Stasel.
Mildred is survived by her nephews, Charles Glenn Stasel (Evelyn), and Edward Hall Melton, Jr (Lynn); niece, Patricia Ann Schneider; 25 great-nieces and –nephews; 19 great-great- nieces and –nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville) with her Funeral Ceremony to follow. Burial will be at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Upton, KY at approximately 4:30 CST.
