Mildred "Millie" Lamkin Snodgrass, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020.
She was born on September 6, 1939 in Louisville , Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband James Richard Lamkin, two brothers and two sisters. She worked for both LG& E and Brown and Williamson. Millie will be remembered for a lot, but most of all she will be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandma.
Here to carry on her memory are her husband of 15 years, William "Sonny" Lee Snodgrass, children, Lois Ann (Charlie ) Bratcher, James Ross (Darla) Lamkin, James Russell Lamkin, James Randall (April) Lamkin, Diana Lynn Miles, step daughters, Kimberly Jean Nye, Monica Beth Husband, eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3-7pm on Thursday, June 4th at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest. A service celebrating Millie's life will be at 11am on Friday, June 5th at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest privately Monday, June 8th at Evergreen Cemetery.
