Mildred Lee (Hottel) Lambert, 81, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. Mildred was a past member of the Swinging Feathers and the Outerloopers Square Dancing Associations and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Clarksville. She loved crocheting, being with family, and being a "room mother" for her daughter's classroom during their school days.
She was born on July 17, 1938, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Mark L. and Mildred (Kinstler) Hottel. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Jeremy A. Ray.
Mildred is survived by her daughters, Cynthia L. "Cindy" Ray and Cheryl A. (David) Benzick; grandson, Chad A. Ray; brother, Mark A. (Carolyn) Hottel; nephew, Scott A. (Jennifer) Hottel; niece, Kristy L. (Rich) Hulen; and other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Mildred's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
