Mildred Crooms Dye

Mildred Crooms Dye, age 96 passed away on April 29th at Baptist Health Hospital.

Mildred was a dedicated member of Westport Road Baptist Church. She retired working retail at the Air Force & Army Exchange & enjoyed her time helping others. Mildred was a true fashionista! She spent her free time shopping at Macy's, her favorite store & loved to look at jewelry.

Mildred was preceded in death by her her parents, Janis & Sherman Elam and the love her life, her husband, Randall Lee Dye.

Mildred is survived by her nephew, Brandon Jones; caregiver, Ashley Warner-Wilson; & long time friends & neighbors, Jerry and Marlene Wilson.

May her smile and strength live forever, her smile carry us through.

Psalm 73:26- My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Visitation will be from 10am to 11am on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Westport Road Baptist Church 9705 Westport Rd, Louisville, KY 40241. A celebration of Mildred's life will be held there at 11am, followed by private burial in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial donations in honor of Mildred may be made to Westport Road Baptist Church.
