Mildred Juanita Brewer

Mildred "Millie" Brewer, 87, passed away at home on June 21, 2021 surrounded by family. She was the oldest of six born in Maryville, TN to Burl and Bellzora Cunningham. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Clyde Ray Brewer, and by her parents and siblings, Harold Cunningham, Jack Cunningham, Shirley Sneed, Ronald Cunningham, and Donald Cunningham. Millie spent her life loving and taking care of her family and friends with her generous heart and playful nature. She enjoyed flowers, birds, picnics, bowling, gardening, trying new recipes, decorating for holidays, and family gatherings. She loved nature and inspired others to do the same.

Church was an important part of her life and she was a founding member of Airway Baptist Church in Dayton, OH where she served as secretary and taught children's Sunday School. She is survived by her children David Brewer (Susan Dillon), Diane Brewer (Lauren Blackwell), and Donna Brewer Golden (Mike Golden); her grandchildren Nick Golden (Melissa Martin Golden) and Erin Golden Miller (Cody Miller); great grandson Levi Michael Golden; and many who knew and loved her as Aunt Millie.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243). Visitation will also be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432) with her service to follow at 1:00, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Xenia, OH.
