Michelle Kay Shoemaker

Michelle Kay Shoemaker, 40, passed away on March 14, 2022. She was very determined and hard working, but in her free time she enjoyed going out with her friends. Michelle was always the life of the party and could make you laugh. She had a heart of gold and was always helping others. Michelle was an amazing mother and was always there for her 3 children.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Hazzard and son-in-law, David Palmer.

Michelle leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Andrew Johnson, Aaliyah Johnson and Raul Sarmiento; grandchildren, Maddy and Ally; mother, Darlene Hazzard; sisters, Chastity Hazzard, Stacy Hazzard and Hollie Ashby; nieces, Emily Albright, Megan Hazzard, Sylina Walthall, Makayla Meredith, Kierston Miley and Kathleen Hazzard; nephews, Christopher Miley, Julian Hazzard-Marin, Ashton Martinez and Michael Martinez and best friends, Oliva Oller, Jordan Alysee, Ashaki Holden

Visitation will be Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 12pm-4pm with a celebration of Michelle's life beginning at 4pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Aaliyah Johnson for the funeral expenses of Michelle or you can also make a donation, on-line, at the bottom of the page of her obituary under "Pay Your Bill".
