Michael Joseph "Mickey" Westbay, 67, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Michael was a man who could do anything. He loved camping, boating, working on cars, NASCAR racing, and doing construction projects
He was born on January 5, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Norman, Sr. and Erma (Devine) Westbay. Along with his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his sister, Sherie Westbay.
Michael is survived by the love of his life, Cindy Stubbs; daughters, Crystle Stubbs and Micki Westbay; grandchildren, Austin Nevitt, Dylan Hiser, Blake Stubbs, Madison Carta, Kynnedy Carta; brother, Norman "Skip" F. Westbay, Jr.; and many extended family members.
Visitation will be from 2PM to 6PM on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. His Funeral Service will be at 6PM on Thursday, in the chapel at the funeral home with cremation to follow.
The family requests that contributions in Michael 's memory be made to Autism Speaks (P.O. Box 180214 Utica, MI 48318) or to Down Syndrome Indiana (708 E.Michigan Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202).
