Michael Jay Stephenson, age 71, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017. He was a Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Martin and Marcella Emma Beckman Stephenson.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Elaine; his son, Adam Stephenson (Sonya); grandchildren, Michael Alan Stephenson and Andrew Campbell Stephenson; sisters, Maria Gordon (Jerry), Gina Lynn Stephenson (Morris Newhouse) and Peggy Sue Biggers (Bill); brothers, David Edward Stephenson (Liz) and Dennis Ray Stephenson (Teri); nieces, Michele Warren (Jay) and Laura Beth Gordon; nephews, David Edwin Stephenson, Allen Newhouse, Russell Newhouse, Brent Gordon (Carlotta), Alex Gordon (Gwen), Tony Church and Brandon Church; and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be private.
