Michael Lee Pickard

March 31, 1943 — November 24, 2020

Michael Lee Pickard, 77, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Michael was a member, researcher, and investigator of the MUFON Organization. He loved singing, studying Egyptology, playing Bingo, studying and researching UFOs, and spending time with his family.

He was born on March 31, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Jesse and Aline (Jones) Pickard. Along with his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma Pickard; second wife, Patty Pickard; and sisters, Mary Lois Stallins and Jeanette Anderson.

Michael is survived by his children, Colleen Pickard, Lisa (Pickard) Blair, Vickey Smith, Michael Edwards, and Jesse Pickard; stepdaughter, Vickie Apted; fiancé, Sandie Preston; 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Schuler and Linda (Johnny) Pickard-Hutcherson; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Due to current restrictions, all services and visitations will be kept private. Masks must be worn if you have been asked by the family to attend. Cremation was chosen in regards to Michael's wishes.

The family requests that contributions in Michael's memory be made to MERF (3044 Bardstown Road, Suite 281, Louisville, KY 40205).
