Michael Otis Hannon

Michael Hannon, 63, passed away June 17, 2016. Mike worked at Anne Taylor for Securitas as a security supervisor and was very proud of the work he did. He made many friends through work, who meant a lot to him. Mike was an outgoing person and never met a stranger. Playing Bingo, drinking coffee and dancing to his and Carolyn's love songs were some of his favorite things to do. He had a very special bond with his sister, Mary who was always there for him throughout his life. Sammy was very supporting who was like a grandson to him and Samantha his mother. Each time Mike would see Sammy he would always say, "Sammy you are so funny."

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Burton and Rose Marie Hannon; brothers, Ronald Hannon and Jimmy Hannon and grandson, DJ Johnson.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Johnson of Florida; grandson, Jacob Johnson; sisters, Mary Kimbro of Clinton, Ky and Nancy Hannon of Las Vegas, NV; his soul mate Carolyn Hamilton and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016, from 3pm-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW (10304 Dixie Highway) with a celebration of Mike's life beginning at 7pm.
