Michael Dean Murphy, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
He was born on June 4, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Dean Early and Lula Marceline (Kerrick) Murphy.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Debbie (Myers) Murphy; daughter, Deanna Kosek (David); son, Benjamin Murphy (Charity); grandchildren, Christian Kosek, Anna Claire Kosek, Brynlee Kosek, Felicity Murphy, Dina Murphy, Lula Murphy; brother, Greg Murphy (Debbie) and sisters, Diane Brantley (Harold), and Marsha Calkin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 3:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm at Chapel in the Woods (1407 Moser Rd, Louisville, KY 40299).
The family requests that contributions in Mike’s memory be made to Hosparus Health Louisville (6200 Dutchmans Lane Louisville KY 40205).
